Great place and better host!
Mohammed is the best host ever. Whole place is fresh, great location to explore medina and to take any taxi/bus outside the city. Great place. Hot water, free dinner, free wifi (slow), nice and confy terrace. Shukran mohhamed! Well come here again definately!

Near Perfect Experience
This riad begins and ends with the manager Mohamed. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and no one comes close to his genuine hospitality. He bought bus tickets for us, held our bags on an overnight trip, and let us print out our boarding passes. His English is excellent and he loves to talk about his life experiences. The room was lovely. A bathroom door would be nice but that can't be expected. The location is perfect, only a 6 minute walk to the square. Breakfast was a nice assortment of breads. It was served very late (9:30am), but I'm sure it could have been moved earlier if we asked.
The stay was not perfect, albeit little fault of Douarskoll. One night the other guests at the hotel stayed in the dining area until 1am talking. The riad is a home and as such we could not fall asleep. Also, due to the perfect location we were harassed multiple times walking home at night. One of the times the 2 teenager boys were quite pushy and I was worried things would get physical, lucky a nearby hotel had their door open and we jumped in. If you stay out past 8pm there is a good chance you will be harassed. It is very stressful and even a little scary regardless of who you are.

Excellent!
Best place to stay in the Médina. A little hard to find but other than that it’s superb the rooms were excellent and Mohammed the manager could not have been any nicer. I highly recommend this place to anyone heading to Morocco! It’s gorgeous inside with an amazing view of the entire city!

Great location, great value, exceptional service!!!
Travelling from London I stayed at Douarskoll for 5 nights in May.
Location is right in the heart of the Medina and perfect for those who want to walk out and explore the endless hustle and bustle of Souks without compromising on noise which was no issue despite in walking distance to the main square and shopping district.
Hospitality from Muhammad is superb, unbeatable. From the start to end the manager is always welcoming and inviting, going out of his way to accomodate to your needs.
Had breakfast up on the rooftop the first morning, freshly squeezed juice bringing the true exceptional service/going out of your way feeling. Feels more like an air bnb and great alternative to stay in this Riad over previous experience staying in multiple hotels, hostels whilst travelling.
Riad was clean, faultless. During the time we were there it was 25-28 degrees so not too hot, but the outstanding service from Muhammad truly made first time exploring Marrakech an unforgettable experience!

Amazing - Location and Hospitality
One of the most enjoyable hotels I have ever stayed. The location is amazing and Mohammed is the nicest owner you will meet, he loves people and his job. His kindness and recommendations took our trip from good to great! The guesthouse is in a very quiet part of the Medina, hidden in the alleys just behind the markets and Jemaa- el-Fna. It is an extremely fun place to stay and you have beautiful views of the city and High Atlas Mountains from the rooftop terrace. I stayed here with my mother, wife, and 8 month-old and it was perfect. Thank you Mohammed! We will be back next time we are in Marrakech
