My family and I went out to eat the other day, and we left with a very good taste in our mouths. The food was exquisite, and I must especially highlight Rosa for her excellent service! Without a doubt, we will return as we were left wanting to try more items from the menu.

LAD VÆR MED AT BOOKE DETTE HOTEL
⭐☆☆☆☆ – Absolutely unacceptable
This was without a doubt the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
The air conditioning in our room did not work for several days, despite us repeatedly reporting the issue to reception. The room was unbearably hot, making it almost impossible to sleep. We received no real assistance, no solution, and no compensation. The only option we were given was to pay out of our own pocket to move to another hotel. It is completely unacceptable to expect guests to pay even more because the hotel cannot provide the basic amenities that were advertised.
On top of that, the room was dirty upon arrival. The cleanliness was far below an acceptable standard, and the overall condition of the room was extremely poor. The furniture and fittings were cheap, worn out, and looked as though they had not been maintained for years. The entire room felt outdated and low quality.
Customer service was just as disappointing. The staff showed little interest in resolving the problem or ensuring that we had a comfortable stay. We were made to feel like our concerns simply did not matter.
This hotel completely failed to deliver the service and standard that guests pay for. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone!

Great stay, great room, great breakfast.
We stayed at Fergus Style for two weeks and I contacted them in advance by email as having booked a suite overlooking the pool in the Annexe I wanted to be sure that the room would be big enough for all our clothes! So we were extremely pleased to find that our suite was very spacious - two rooms in fact with two lots of hanging space and two lots of drawers and two balconies. A perfect start to our holiday. As I am under 5 ft no problem in hanging my dresses up either. The room was very clean and serviced daily, with a good sized bathroom with two shower heads. Towels and bedding changed frequently. No problems with the aircon which we kept on due to the above average temperatures so the room was always cool. The reception staff were always helpful and also provided bus timetables which we used to take several trips during our time there.
The buffet breakfast was absolutely outstanding, indeed one of the very best in our experience. Very varied with an excellent choice to suit all tastes.
We liked the convenience of being in the Annexe near to the pool and the articificial grass meant the area around the pool was not slippery. We sometimes paid for the sun loungers on the beach - my only grumble being that the sand was not swept each morning!
The buffet breakfast was absolutely outstanding, indeed one of the very best in our experience. Very varied with an excellent choice to suit all tastes.

Great beachfront hotel in Port de Soller
Basic but clean and well appointed rooms. Great breakfast included in our rate - breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, cooked breakfast items, fruits, yogurts, fresh omelette station and cereals. Super location overlooking the sea, in the heart of Port Soller. We had a side room but we still had a nice view of the mountains. Friendly and efficient staff, friendly housekeeping and catering staff. The TV had BBC1 and BBC 2 which was a bonus. Definitely recommended for a good value holiday.

Don’t assume you’ll get the room you book
I booked a suite directly with the hotel a few months in advance of our trip. It was for one night before we moved to our villa. It was supposed to be a treat for my partner’s birthday. We arrived very early at the hotel to be told that they’d made a mistake and we’d be staying in a double room. We had booked months previously when other rooms were still available so presumably others had booked after us. I got the impression that as we were there for one night we’d been shoved into what was left. They promised us a refund of the difference but so far despite me chasing several times I have had no response.
The room we were given was the smallest hotel room I’d ever stayed in. You could barely walk around the bed. The bathroom was tiny. The toilet seat was very yellow all around the inner rim. The shower screen was chipped and there wasn’t room to move around in there.
I wish we’d booked somewhere else.
In order to try and make the review balanced I will mention some good points. The breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is nice.
I won’t be returning. Soller is beautiful but there are other hotels with more positive comments.
