Not bad

Decent hostel that was cheaper than the others in Basel. i was expecting less tbh. Staff were good and let me check in early. Location is close enough to the train station and buses run nearby. Dorms were ok. there were lockers but no privacy curtains. kitchen was reasonable. not much of a common area and i didn't see anyone socialising.

Friendly staff, sub-par accommodations

The check-in staff was very friendly, and it was in a fun, hipster-y location not too far from Basel SBB. Unfortunately, the rooms were extremely hot, there were some odd guests, and I found a silver fish on my pillow. My brother (who had booked a private room) also got locked in the bathroom because of a faulty lock, and the staff was not on hand to help. His wife finally got it open but smashed her finger in the process.

Fine place to stay but the experience was tainted by sexual assault and harassment from another resident.

Room was fine, me and my friend had it all to ourselves. People working there were nice and helpful. There was a cat too so that´s a plus. Old french man who was also staying in the hostel was creeping outside the room me and my friend were staying in. He also groped me and my friend the morning we were leaving. He took it upon himself to follow us downstairs and walk us out, after sitting on a chair outside our room the entire night trying to talk to us every single time we left to use to the bathroom. We left at 4 am and he was still sitting right outside our room. Since the desk closes early, we could not inform anyone of this bad behavior and our uncomfortability. Other than our experience with one of the other guests, it was a fine room with nice staff.

Holiday in a reclining car Overnight stay in a quiet hostel, beautiful manicured city beautiful museums

Nice hostel, showers available you can also have breakfast there, but rather simple, okay I am spoiled I would have hoped for more from the breakfast. Many rooms available, probably also single rooms. Nicely overgrown house.

Well!

The location is very good, 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the center by tram. They give you a free shuttle card for the entire stay, including roundtrip to the airport. The staff very friendly and you can leave the bags before and after check in. The room (female 8) spacious, with plug near the bed and lockable locker. It doesn't look like the pictures or clean. Good heating in winter. Nice and comfortable common areas. Cold shared bathrooms. Ok beds and soft pillows.
