A Very Special Stay

I wanted to stay at a classy country hotel for a big birthday and this did not disappoint!
We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown directly to our room which was immaculate. We went for a superior room which appeared to be a bit more spacious than the double rooms, and it was worth it, especially due to the hot weather experienced during our stay!
We had our evening meal at the hotel which was amazing. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for!
Breakfast was very special too with so much choice and extremely good coffee!
I would have no hesitation in recommending staying at Stone House Hotel if you are looking for a special treat. Everything about it was so lovely!

Such a beautiful Hotel with the friendliest of staff. Loved everything about this Hotel, the decor, the food the atmosphere and the gorgeous view. We will definitely be back ♥️

Best hotel experience in the entire UK !

From the moment you arrive ( and even before - as all my questions were answered in a more than adequate way) you feel welcome and at home in this wonderfully luxurious but tastefully warm historic house, where the fantastic food, the comfortable beds, the many cosy corners to sit and relax but most of all the fantastic staff will make you hate to leave. Don't expect the often over-the-top stiff and fake hospitality-friendliness one often encounters in this type of top-class establishment. Here everybody radiates a very positive and truly friendly attitude, with the focus on your well-being and nothing else. Well behaved dogs are very welcome here, and that only adds to the nice country-feeling. We've travelled a lot, but have encountered very few places - if any- like this one. Highly recommended !

Brilliant stay

Brilliant hotel in lovely location. Friendly and efficient staff. Gorgeous room and en-suite. Ideally located for Hawes. Would recommend to everyone. Definitely will visit again soon. Good car park. Nice bar for drinks. Excellent breakfast.

Wonderful country hotel.

We stayed two nights in this wonderful hotel in typical Dales countryside just outside the pretty village of Hawes. From the moment of our arrival, we felt like guests in a comfortable and characterful country home. Without exception, the staff were warmly welcoming, very friendly and informative and their service was unobtrusive but consistently exemplary. Our suite was delightful - immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and furnished (with some interesting knick knacks), spacious and comfortable, a large, soft bed providing a great sleep and a modern bathroom - all of which appeared to have been recently updated. We enjoyed drinks in front of the fire in the atmospherical wood panelled lounge before delicious dinners of excellent standard from an interesting menu featuring local produce, matched with generous country breakfasts. Outside, the pleasant garden seating beckoned for warmer days. Our stay was a splendid and memorable experience and we recommend Stonehouse Hotel without reservation.
