Fantastic weekend with wife for her birthday hotel was perfect clean and the food was amazing attention to detail with the best staff very friendly with a great atmosphere would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something special

Booked a family room for myself and granddaughter’s nearly 3 and 2 years old. Was told they don’t provide cots, room was up 4 flights of stairs. Room was large and clean but could do with updating the decor and carpets.

Booked a family room which was advertised as a King sized bed with a single. We received the world’s most uncomfortable double bed in what can be best described as a sauna. The room was 25•C when we entered. Luckily there was air con which battled all night against the hotels heating.
Brought it up with the member of staff on reception and he couldn’t have cared less, he stated we received a triple room which is what we paid for, I explained that the listing specifically stated a king sized bed (which is why we booked this specific room as my husband is tall) and he didn’t even respond.
Breakfast was nice, but all the poached eggs were hard.
Won’t ever stay here again.
