TLDR: stay elsewhere

A very average hotel in an area abounding in hotels…
In case you’re wondering how the Avid brand differentiates itself from other IHG brands, apparently “[…] Avid hotels prioritize a good night's sleep, a high-quality, grab-and-go breakfast”.
Well, I can tell you that this hotel fails on both fronts: the breakfast was poor quality, even compared to an average Holiday Inn Express or Hyatt Place, and the sleep quality low, with noisy air-conditioning unit and a cleaner erroneously waking me up trying to open my door to clean the room in the morning.

Upon arrival AC didntwork. LVP tiles were coming up
Window shade was broken. Would only give us 2 bsth towels even though 3 were registered in the room. Our 3 day stay, beds were never made
. Garbage only taken out once. Breakfast was frozrn dried out potatoes and sausage. Eggs were imitation. Menu never changed

Hotel is newer. Clean. No carpet in the room which is a plus! Room was small but functional. Check in was rough but the representative was pleasant. Breakfast area appeared minimal. They have water, ice, coffee, and tea available at all times.

This was a great place to stay for business for a couple of days. The place seemed clean and new with a minimalistic vibe. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that the flooring was starting to come up in my room. I was surprised because the place seemed too new for that kind of issue. This might have been completely isolated to my room. I would stay again.
